EPD certification Ceccato
The First in the world

EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) is a certificate , with which Ceccato choose to share pubblicly the enviromental performence of his product.
Hydrus, Pegasus and Hyperion have obtained the EPD certification, with which we comunicate the enviromental impact of their life cycle.
To obtain this certification, Ceccato has developed studies of LCA (Life Cycle Assessment), a tool that allows to globally evaluate the enviromental impact of a product along all the phases of his life cycle, such extraction and transformation of raw materials, production, transportation, use of the product, waste treatment. For all of those processes, that are a part of the life cycle of the product , it have been measured the incoming resources (energy, water, ...) and the emission into the air and water, to calculate the corresponding enviromental impact. EPD requires that enviromental indicators are calculated and declared such: global warming, ozone reduction, photochemical smog , acidification, eutrofizzazione, energetical consumption, resource consumption, water consumption, waste, electrical energy consumption during the production, toxic emission in air and water.
